The Patch Up- Online Folk Embroidery Upcycling, 22nd April
We are living in very different times at the moment so we are going to try and stay as connected to our community as possible and hope that you do too. Our new meet up will now be online, free and lots of fun!
This workshop is being held in conjunction with Fashion Revolution which is a movement that aims to radically change the way our clothes are sourced, produced and consumed, so that our clothing is made in a safe, clean and fair way. We want you to love your clothes for as long as possible, so we are going to teach you how to breathe new life into your wardrobe with some folk style embroidery.
We will log on on Wednesday the 22nd April at 5:30pm. To attend you will need to 'buy' the product (it's free) and we will email you a zoom link where you will find Poppy & Natalie to teach you how to do use folk embroidery to liven up a forgotten garment.
What will I need?
- A garment to embroider I used a blouse so I could use the different sections to embroidery like the cuffs and neckline. Make sure it's ironed ready.
- Embroidery Thread as many colours as you want
- Embroidery hoop this isn't essential but will make it easier for you to use one.
Where can I buy supplies?
