Lowie's Social Responsibility: A Commitment
to Ethical Fashion Production Globally.

Harley and Co, Scotland

Our Knitwear is manufactured with minimal yarn waste by Harley of Scotland. They have 100 years of textile knowledge and technical expertise spanning 3 generations of the same Harley family using highest quality natural yarns and ethical Scottish production. By using cutting edge technology, we create luxurious seam free, high end jumpers in the best British yarns.

Sumiran and family, Jaipur, India

Craft is integral to Lowie's identity. For parts of our collection that feature block printing, appliqué, or screen printing, we collaborate with Sumiran. Passed down through generations, this small, family-run workshop with 30 employees produces our printed, handwoven and organic cotton pieces. Together, we continuously explore innovative ways to increase sustainability and traditional crafts in our processes.

Andy and Anthony, Hong Kong

Our luxurious alpaca pieces are produced by our long-term collaborators, father and son duo, Andy and Anthony. Their small, family-run workshop has a focus on sustainability and meticulous attention to detail with many of their knit pieces crafted on hand frames, eliminating the need for electricity during production. Their workshop is based in Dongguan, a known hub of exceptional knitwear craftsmanship. All our yarns strictly adhere to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), highlighting our dedication to sustainable and ethical practices.

Lina and Team, Shenzhen,China

For the past 12 years, we’ve partnered with a small studio in Shenzhen, China—based in a shared collaborative workspace—to craft our well-cut trousers, boilersuits, and jackets in cotton, corduroy, linen, and eucalyptus lyocell. The small team of four continue to dazzle us with their technical expertise, high-end finishing, and astonishing craftsmanship, producing exceptional quality, long lasting garments.
